– „Das Wiedererwachen der Sonne, das Laufen der Hirsche…“: Die Weihnachtslieder
der keltischen Inseln verbinden auf zauberhafte Weise naturverbundene
Mittwintersymbolik mit weihnachtlichen Traditionen.
Die Harfenistin und Sängerin Nadia Birkenstock ist wieder im Drehwerk zu Gast singt
und spielt Melodien ihres aktuellen Weihnachtsalbums „A Light So Bright“ (ausgezeichnet
vom „Preis der deutschen Schallplattenkritik“ mit „Bestenliste01/2025“).
Festliche Winterlieder und Dance Tunes aus England und Irland, archaische
Gesänge aus Frankreich und Deutschland und einfühlsame eigene
Instrumentalkompositionen lassen die Zuhörer eintauchen in eine Welt von
Weihnachtswunder und Mittwinter-Zauber.

Virtuoses Harfenspiel, kristallklarer, anrührender Gesang, augenzwinkernde
Moderation und nicht zuletzt ihre Erscheinung verschmelzen bei Nadia
Birkenstock zu einem einzigartigen, authentischen Konzerterlebnis.

Nadia Birkenstock gilt als eine der führenden Vertreterinnen der keltischen
Harfe in Deutschland und Europa.
Die gebürtige Solingerin studierte Gesang an der Musikhochschule Düsseldorf und
brachte während des Studiums ihre ersten Konzertprogramme für Gesang und
keltische Harfe auf die Bühne.

Heute tourt sie solo und mit verschiedenen Besetzungen durch Europa, ist
neben ihrer Konzerttätigkeit eine gefragte Workshop-Dozentin und hat zahlreiche
Alben veröffentlicht.
Die Produktion „The Enchanted Lake“ mit dem Irischen Schauspieler und Sänger
Mick Fitzgerald  wurde mit dem „Global Music Award“ ausgezeichnet.
2023 gewann sie den 1.Preis beim Kompositionswettbewerb des „Verbandes der
Harfenisten in Deutschland“.
Ihre Kompositionen, die durch Videos im Internet und Lizensierungen für Film
und Fernsehen ein großes Publikum erreichen, werden weltweit von namhaften
Künstlern interpretiert und unterrichtet.
